# Quick packing survey: the one item you’d never fly without

What’s the one thing you’d never fly without — and what do you always regret packing? OneBag Kit runs a short, anonymous reader survey for carry-on and one-bag travelers: five questions, about 60 seconds, no email or sign-up. 2. **What’s the most surprising thing you’ve packed in a carry-on?** Optional free text, up to 200 characters. A person reads these before any appear on the public results wall.
3. **What item do you always regret packing?** Pick one: an extra pair of shoes · “just in case” outfits · full-size toiletries · hair dryer or styling tools · a laptop I barely opened · jeans / heavy denim · paper books · camera gear I didn’t use · a bulky travel pillow · nothing — no regrets · something else (write it in).
4. **What bag do you usually carry?** Personal item only · 20–30L backpack · 30–40L backpack · 40L+ backpack · roller / wheeled carry-on.

## Privacy

- Anonymous: no email, no name, no account.
